Conservatives in Blackheath Westcombe ward have launched their new ‘Shape the Standard’ campaign – an online pledge calling on Greenwich Council to protect the special character of the Blackheath Royal Standard, celebrate its history and also invest in some improvements.
Lewisham and Greenwich Councils had each received an application to allow advertising on the roundabout in the middle of Blackheath at the junction of Shooters Hill Road and Prince Charles Road. The roundabout is on the boundary of the two Boroughs.
