Councillor Charlie Davis has welcomed the announcement that the Metropolitan Police has been bolstered by an additional 1,369 officers since the Government launched its major recruitment drive in September 2019.

Council uses loophole to push up rents for new tenants

Greenwich's Labour Council is planning to put up rents for new tenants by around four times the rate of inflation, in apparent defiance of a decision by the Council in February to limit rent increases.
