Greenwich Council has launched a consultation on changes to the Wyborne School Street, and we want to make sure local residents have their say before any decision is made.
The proposed scheme would extend the School Street to include Ivor Grove and Castleford Avenue for their entire length and would be enforced with ANPR cameras rather than bollards as the existing School Street has been.
It will be enforced Monday - Friday 8 - 9.30am and 3 - 4pm during term time. During the operating hours access will be permitted for permit holders, blue badge holders, emergency vehicles, and any other vehicle exempted under the terms of the Traffic Order. The Council has not yet made it sufficiently clear exactly how the permit arrangements will operate. We are seeking clarification, including whether each household or each vehicle will qualify for a permit.
