Supporting Local Business

Greenwich Conservatives have championed local businesses and campaigned for greater support from the Council to help our high streets and parades survive and recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

We have called for:

  • The introduction of a "Buy Local" campaign and customer loyalty scheme to support local traders and suppliers 
  • The freezing of increases in commercial rents by the Council during the pandemic
  • The creation of a specific fund to support pubs and licensed premises, using grants provided by central government.
