David Gold and Conservative Council candidate Dr Arujuna Sivananthan conducting the Blackheath Rail Survey to discover the impact of the cut in train services by South Eastern trains on passengers using Blackheath Train Station. Dr Arujuna Sivananthan slammed the reduction in train services as being the result of an "indolent Labour government which pays scant regard to the welfare of the residents in South East London and the self-absorbed Labour run Greenwich Council whose only aspiration is to retain power at the expense of residents".

Spencer visits Charlton Lido

During the Summer, when the Lido was closed to the public, Cllr Spencer Drury (Parliamentary Candidate for Greenwich and Woolwich) visited the Blackheath based swimming club which used the pool on a regular basis.

Eltham United Charities celebrate 500th anniversary

On Saturday (4th July) Eltham North Councillor Dermot Poston addressed residents, trustees, friends, families and other guests at the 500th anniversary of Eltham United Charities.  Dermot is the longest serving trustee.

Cllr A Wilson & Cllr Spencer Drury inspect graded glass put down by Greenwich Council during the recent cold snap at the begining of the year. After speaking the the council the Council's Cleansweep dept has removed the glass.
