Transport for London pledge action on overcrowded 108 bus route

Stop and Shop Bay Extension Welcomed

Mayor of London Boris Johnson has announced that drivers will now have an extra ten minutes to park in red route parking bays taking the time allowed to park from 20 minutes to 30 minutes.

Thameslink Information "Event" - too low key

Blackheath Westcombe residents who use the Greenwich line are concerned about the effect the Thameslink Programme will have on their train services and so would have welcomed the news that an information event was to be held at stations on the line. However, Blackheath Westcombe Councillor, Geoff Brighty, has said he was disappointed by what he saw at Westcombe Park Station.

Revised Lovells Wharf Proposal Rejected

Greenwich Council's Planning Board, unanimously, rejected plans to substantially increase the number of residential units and to increase the height of riverside blocks on a development already underway at Lovells Wharf.
