Adam Thomas visits Avery Hill Nursery open day

Conservative Councillor Adam Thomas recently visited the Avery Hill Nursery's open day to look at best practice in early years education.  The nursery is considered to be an outstanding child care facility in the borough and at the moment offers child care for students studying at Greenwich University and the Avery Hill campus.

Adam said, 'What I've seen today has been really impressive, the nursery has been rated by Ofsted as providing a very good service and the children clearly love being here.  The nursery has a dedicated team and Paulina is doing a fantastic job.  The Conservative team will continue to support the nursery, as it looks to offer more services to the local community and there are exciting opportunities of working in partnership with the University with the nursery becoming a research facility for early years study.'

The nursery is now looking to offer child care to the wider community with the new term starting in September.  If you would like more information on the nursery, please contact it's Manger Paulina Bush directly on 020 8294 2152.
