Conservatives support residents on housing

Cllr Eileen Glover has been working closely with residents in Hambledown Road and Greenhithe Close regarding Greenwich Council's proposals for housing development in the area.

Cllr Glover spoke on behalf of residents at a recent council meeting. She presented a petition and raised concerns that the under the proposed development houses would be built on the green space between the roads. Cllr Glover said: “The council needs to listen to the views of local residents on housing development issues. This is simply not the right location for more houses as this would take away important amenity space. We will continue to represent residents' views in the strongest terms.”Conservatives believe that Labour is allowing too many developments on inappropriate sites across the borough.
