Conservatives want to help our local economy

Local businesses are struggling to stay afloat during the recession. The tragic pictures of businesses on Swingate Lane on Shooters Hill are indicative of widespread failings of Greenwich Council across the borough. Abandoned buildings also attract crime and antisocial behaviour, with graffiti and vandalism being the primary concerns.

File 459With the grim economic climate looming for the foreseeable future, your local Conservatives are seeking more support for businesses. Council candidate Simon Emmett says: “The situation on Shooters Hill is just the tip of the iceberg. It shows a total disregard by the Labour council for struggling local businesses, and a complete lack of concern for the potential social problems that accompany an ailing local economy.”
