Not on Blackheath, please

The recent visit to Blackheath by the Chinese State Circus brought pleasure to many but not to all.  Imagine the reaction of an observant resident when a lorry from the Circus was seen to drive across the grass to a drain in Vanbrugh Terrace where the operatives proceeded to pour obnoxious smelling waste down the drain.  A quick call to the local Conservative Councillor got it sorted out and the Circus apologised for failing to keep to the strict rules they are supposed to observe as part of the agreement that allows use of the Circus Field.  It seems that the expected mobile waste disposal unit had not turned up and the Circus has wanted to have the facilities ready for that days audiences.
