Plans have been revealed to the local paper about replacing Crown Woods school in Eltham with a high tech collegiate; Public workers' union Unison has accused a council of pay hypocrisy after bosses were awarded big rises; Pensioners are to join forces at a national demonstration to lobby the Government about pension rates; Plumstead Manor school has been praised for helping out in the community; Findings published by the Healthcare Commission show there is room for improvement across most of the borough's healthcare services; Residents are opposing an application which would give a food store a licence to sell alcohol; A team of 30 firefighters were called to the scene of a chemical incident in Eltham and found two cars "steaming".
