A fond farewell to Dorothy

Councillor Dorothy Mepsted, who has represented the Coldharbour and New Eltham area for over 20 years, has decided to retire from the Council at the next election.  

 

Cllr John Hills said, “I have worked with Dorothy since I waselected to the Council for New Eltham in 1999. However wehave been friends for many years before that. She has been wonderful colleague to work with and I will miss her. She was an outstanding councillor, her first priority being the residents of the ward.”

Cllr Chris Taylor said, “Dorothy has been an inspiration to me since my election in 2002. I'll never forget the help and guidance she gave me in my early days, and now she is off to enjoy a well earned retirement, she leaves behind a legacy of achievements that have benefited the residents she has so successfully represented.”
