Greenwich Conservatives' AGM held last night

Last night the Federation of Greenwich Conservatives held its third Annual General Meeting since inception in March 2003 at the Eltham Conservative Club, on Eltham High Street.  Graham Attwood chaired the meeting and presented the Annual Report and Accounts of the Federation which were adopted unanimously.



The meeting was addressed by Bob Blackman (pictured centre), Conservative member of the London Assembly for Brent and Harrow, and former leader of Brent Council.  A vote of thanks was proposed by Cllr Spencer Drury (right) and Alistair Craig (left), the Parliamentary Candidates for Eltham and Greenwich & Woolwich.


At the meeting the officers for the forthcoming year were elected:


Hon President: Caroline Spelman MP

Hon Vice President: Frank Hodgson


Chairman: Graham Attwood

Deputy Chairman (Politics & Campaigning): Graeme Coombs

Deputy Chairman (Membership & Finance): Mandy Brinkhurst

Constituency Officer (Greenwich & Woolwich): Andy Jennings

Constituency Officer (Eltham): Paul Clark


The Treasurer's position remains vacant and an appointment will be made by the Executive Council in due course.
