Siebert Road petition

Blackheath Westcombe Conservatives have welcomed the petition organised by residents calling on TfL to install pollution and noise barriers along the residential sections backing on to the A102.

Geoff Brighty, Blackheath Westcombe's Conservative Councillor, has been amongst those lobbying for action to protect residents in Siebert and Invicta Roads from the effects of the heavily used road.

He said " Over a number of years local Councillors and GLA Members have been pursuing this and hopefully the cumulative effect of that lobbying, and the petition, will result in some much needed action." Local Conservatives will also be drawing attention to the problem in their response to the recently launched consultation on a river crossing at Silvertown.
