Greenwich Conservatives Launch new "Greenwich North" branch

 

Friday 8th March 2013 saw the inaugural Annual General Meeting of the new Greenwich North Branch of the Greenwich Conservative Federation. The new Branch covering the wards of Greenwich West, Peninsula, Charlton, Woolwich Riverside, Woolwich Common and Glyndon. The new branch will focus on creating new social and networking opportunities for the membership by hosting a range of events over the coming year.

Speaking at the AGM the then Deputy Chairman (Membership) of Greenwich Conservatives, Thomas Turrell said “I’m looking forward to seeing the Branch develop over the coming year. It is good for the Greenwich Conservative Federation to be able to provide its members with new and diverse opportunities! Membership of the Conservative party is a wide ranging package and we are always looking at new and different offers for our members!”

Members present elected the committee which will meet soon to discuss the first event and set a calendar of events for the forthcoming year! The AGM was held in the Star & Garter Pub on Old Woolwich Road, Peninsula ward, we would like to thank the staff present for the kind hospitality and for being so helpful!
