A message to residents of Shooters' Hill

Nigel Fletcher, Conservative candidate for the Shooters' Hill by-election says: “People in this area have been let down by Labour, both locally and nationally. Crime, graffiti and anti-social behaviour have risen, and schools are starved of resources.

"Conservatives are the only opposition to Labour here - the Lib-Dems, UKIP and other parties are a wasted vote. Conservative Councillors have spoken up against the rise in council tax this year, and pressured Labour to put education in Greenwich top of the agenda. If you feel let down by Labour, please vote Conservative and let me give you a stronger voice on the Council.”

Nigel Fletcher believes in:
• More effective neighbourhood policing and action to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour and make our streets safer.
• Improving education in our schools and giving parents the Right to Choose where best to educate their child.
• Lower tax and an end to the waste and inefficiency of the Labour Council.

If elected Nigel pledges to:
• Work to make our streets safer and put more police on our streets.
• Make education a top priority and demand action to raise standards.
• Oppose rises in Council Tax and demand better value for the money we pay.
• Support the fight to save Sevendroog Castle.
