Councillors provide update for residents in Eltham South

Local Conservative Councillors Working Hard For You

As your local councillors we want to give you an update on some of the things we have been working on/securing delivery of in the immediate area as well as reiterating that we are on hand if you should need assistance from any of us.

  • Court Road’s anti-skid surface has now been extended beyond the entry to the golf course following campaigning by Councillor Matt Clare
  • We continue to ask for mobile speed patrols and that a permanent camera be considered on the A20-bound side of Court Road subject to residents approval
  • Litter bins are now in place near the Royal Blackheath Golf course Bus Stops
  • Chevron signs near Woodmere are now fixed to prevent vandalism
  • Pushing for an additional council focus on clearing and preventing dog mess between Middle Park Avenue and Mottingham Station
  • Extra parking patrols on Tarnwood Park requested and now taking place
  • Grove Market Place- Councillor Adam Thomas led the campaign against this 7 storey development. We continue to monitor the situation and will influence where we can to ensure the best result for Eltham
  •  401-419 Middle Park Avenue– Guttering repairs/cleaning have been requested. We also successfully fought against the erection of a phone mast
  • The Tarn- Your councillors are strong supporters through regular volunteering, with the Friends Group

Eileen, Adam and Matt are passionate about defending your needs and protecting/enhancing the local area. In addition to the above we often work with residents on planning matters on your behalf and are continually trying to keep the area cleaner and tidier.

Please do not hesitate to contact any of us if we can be of assistance.

Yours sincerely

Matt,Adam and Eileen
