Conservatives continue campaign to keep New Eltham tidy on litter pick

Conservative councillors from Coldharbour and New Eltham and Eltham South were out in force at New Eltham Library on a litter pick to keep the grounds of the library looking neat and tidy for users and the local community.

The library is a well used community facility in the heart of New Eltham village - as part of their continuing campaign to stand up for the interests of New Eltham, Conservative councillors were out collecting litter, and talking to residents and library users.

Councillors Adam Thomas, Eileen Glover and Neil Dickinson collected a number of bag fulls of rubbish on the library site.

Cllr Adam Thomas said, "All six Conservative councillors who represent New Eltham care about the village and the local amenities, including the library.  All of us will be continuing to work hard to ensure it and its residents are not forgotten by Greenwich Council."
