First Resident Consultation Meeting for Sparrows Farm

Following Greenwich Council granting a new alcohol and events license to the student union bar at Sparrows Farm, Cllr Adam Thomas requested that the bar management fulfilled the conditions within the license agreement to hold regular resident consultation meetings.

Having requested this meeting, the university bar management has confirmed that the first meeting will take place on Thursday 18 November at 7pm at Sparrows Farm, for all residents living on Sparrows Lane, Tiverton Drive and Stanley Close.  The meeting will give residents the opportunity to find out what measures the student union is putting in place to minimise disturbance as well as asking questions and raising any concerns they may have.

Cllr Adam Thomas said, " I would encourage residents to attend this meeting, it's clear that many residents still have concerns about how this new license will operate, particularly given that drinking and entertainment will continue to 2am on Friday and Saturday nights.  This meeting gives residents the chance to directly quiz the bar management on those issues they are most concerned about."
