At the start of the last week before Christmas a sudden hole appeared in Hardy Road, next to Ingleside Gardens. Quick to respond were Conservative Councilors Neil Dickinson and Alex Wilson who were able to inform the Council’s highway's department about the danger in the road.
At Greenwich Council’s Cabinet last week Labour Councillors were presented with a report from Ofsted which challenged the Council over the performance of primary schools and Sixth Forms in the borough.
The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has announced over £3.4m for transport improvements in Greenwich.
The funding has been allocated by Transport for London (TfL) through the Local Implementation Plan (LIP) process and is awarded to the borough to spend on projects that support the Mayor’s Transport Strategy, including safer roads, smoothing traffic flow, rejuvenating town centres and better facilities for cycling and walking.
