It’s a sad fact that Greenwich isn’t blessed with many good state maintained schools. Yet education is the most powerful means by which our children can be given the freedom to shape their future.

The next Conservative Council will close the educational gap between the fortunate and the forgotten, by:
 

• Building new schools
• Shifting the balance of power away from the local bureaucrats and towards parents
• Allowing new schools to be established
• Encouraging smaller schools
