Your Councillors have been active in fighting unreasonable planning and licensing applications for the ward. Spencer had little success in supporting residents to oppose an application to sell alcohol in the shop on Grangehill Road where the Council’s Licensing Committee completely reversed its previous decision. Dermot was more successful in opposing an application for long
opening hours for a bar at the top of Westmount Road.
