Conservatives call on Southeastern to improve customer service

Conservative Councillors for Blackheath Westcombe Cllr Geoff Brighty and Cllr Alex Wilson have written to Southeastern railways criticising their handling of train delays caused by Network Rail earlier this week.  


In the letter the Councillors cite incorrect information being displayed and trains with their destination boards switched off coming to the station causing confusion. The Councillors are also critical of the company for not having staff present on the platform to answer questions and ease the confusion.


Cllr Geoff Brighty said “The customer service provided by Southeastern was unacceptable. The train company has to improve its customer service and do more to help customers when delays occur”.
