Planned Roadworks for Blackheath Village

There will be major road works outside the Blackheath Railway station in the village starting on Monday 31st January and these should last 5 days.

The planned works are to reduce the height of the existing raised table and try to improve the surface water drainage which has been an on going problem. During the works the pedestrian crossing will be closed and the carriage way width will be be reduced with alternative traffic flow via temporary traffic lights.

Ward Councillors for Blackheath Westcombe Cllr Geoff Brighty and Alex Wilson will be monitoring the works and will raise concerns should they take longer than the planned 5 days.
