Supporting clean up day in Greenwich & Blackheath

Greenwich Conservatives joined volunteers from across both Greenwich and Lewisham in a community clean up of Blackheath and the Point in Greenwich. Among the volunteers were Conservative councillors Geoff Brighty and Matt Hartley as well as the Conservative candidate in the forthcoming Greenwich West by-election Thomas Turrell.

Prime Minister announces new Free School for Greenwich

Councillor Matt Hartley, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Greenwich & Woolwich, has welcomed the news that a new Free School, Stationers’ Academy Greenwich Peninsula, has been approved. Concerns Raised over use of Blackheath

Councillor Geoff Brighty and Thomas Turrell attended the public meeting of the Blackheath Joint Working Party. At the meeting local residents voiced their concerns about the use of the heath after it emerged that Lewisham Council have given permission to two large festivals on the heath next year, both expecting to attract up to 15,000 people a day.
