Phone Mast application in - we want to hear from residents

This week Waldon Telecom, on behalf of Telefonica O2, have submitted their planning application for a 12.5 metre phone mast and cabinet on the corner of Court Road and Middle Park Avenue.  The application is now undergoing a public consultation.

Update on Eltham Community Hospital

Avery Hill Park license approved

Greenwich Council's Licensing Committee last night approved the application by Greenwich Council to have a time limited license for the showing of the film Grease and to allow the playing of music and approximately 100 cars into the park to watch the film on Saturday 17 July.

Government figures published this week highlighted that the council still has some way to go in collecting council tax.  In 2009/10 the council only managed to collect 94% of the £82,655 it needed to collect, well below the national average collection rate of 97.01%. 

Local councillor celebrates school achievements at Crown Woods

It was a real privilege to attend Crown Woods School's Year 11 Leavers ceremony on Friday, hundreds of pupils, parents, teachers and governor attended the event to celebrate the end of GCSE exams and the achievements of all the pupils and staff.
