Cllr. Fletcher at the Bob Hope Theatre

Eltham South team out campaigning for Boris in New Eltham

Eltham South councillors Adam Thomas and Matt Clare joined Greenwich & Lewisham London Assembly candidate Alex Wilson and members of Conservative Future to campaign for Boris in New Eltham and Avery Hill.

The team deliveredd over 5000 leaflets in two polling districts, supporting the Boris re election effort and campaigning against Greenwich Council's disastrous parking charge proposals for Eltham High Street.

Consultation on new Restons Crescent play area


Greenwich Council is putting forward plans for a new play area for Under 8s on the Avery Hill estate.  The existing equipment on the play area will be removed and new equipment installed.

"Crown Woods must be allowed to compete with grammar schools in Bexley - It's what parents want."

Councilllors on the Children and Young People's Scrutiny Panel left the Town Hall last week to hold a meeting at the newly completed Crown Woods College, built under the last Government's Building Schools for Future programme.

Conservatives Criticise bogus consultation

On Friday the Woolwich based Labour Council opened a consultation on introducing parking charges on Eltham High Street, but Conservatives fear that the result is already a forgone conclusion.
