Three years ago, after residents in the Mottingham Road and Leysdown Road area approached ward Councillors with their serious concerns regarding accidents caused by speeding motorists exiting Leysdown Road, the ward Councillors approached Greenwich Council, and asked for a pedestrian refuge island to be installed in Mottingham Road.
