Conservatives call for the return of free parking on empty road behind Eltham Station

Following the introduction of pay and display parking in a section of road with no residents living on it, Eltham Conservatives have called for Greenwich Council to change course and return to free parking on Glenlea Road.

Matt Browne selected as Conservative candidate for Glyndon by-election

Matt Browne has been selected as the Conservative candidate for the Glyndon ward council by-election on 5th May. The contest follows the resignation of one of the ward's Labour councillors half way through the current council term.

Blackheath Events - Council Back Down on Multiple Application

Following the withdrawal of the permanent, blanket-style licence application for up to 5 events and 60 days a year on Circus Field, proposed by Greenwich Council, the first one-off licence application was submitted within days and has now been approved.
