2018 Council Candidate for Eltham North ward

Cllr Spencer Drury is standing for re-election in Eltham North ward in the local elections in May 2018.  Spencer is a married father of two teenage children who lives on the Eltham side of Shooters Hill. Spencer was first elected to Council in 2002 and has served on Greenwich Council as a Councillor for Eltham North ward since that time. He was Deputy Leader of the Opposition from 2004 to 2006 and Leader of the Opposition from 2006 to 2015. Spencer works at Colfe's School in Lee where he is currently Director of Sixth Form and Head of the Government & Politics Department.

Cllr John Hills is standing for re-election in Coldharbour & New Eltham ward in the local elections in May 2018.  John was first elected to Greenwich council in 2000, when he won a by-election and has continued to be re-elected in 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014; in total serving for 18 years, and being part of a team of three ward members since 2002.

Cllr Matt Hartley

Cllr Matt Hartley is standing for re-election in Coldharbour & New Eltham ward in the local elections in 2018.  Matt was elected to the council in 2014 and serves as Leader of the Opposition. He works for a national advice charity and spends much of his spare time working in the local community. He serves as a school governor at Ealdham Primary School and on the committee of the Friends of Fairy Hill Park. He is also a local credit union volunteer.

Dr Brenda Lobo

Dr Brenda Lobo has been selected as one of the Conservative candidates for Eltham North ward, ahead of the next Council elections in May. Brenda has recently retired, having worked for the NHS for more than 40 years, and has lived in Eltham North ward since 1988, with her three children all attending local schools. Now that she has more time, Brenda would like to represent the ward that she has been a part of for the past 30 years.

Malcolm Reid has been selected as one of the Conservative candidates for Blackheath Westcombe ward ahead of the next council elections, due in 2018. Malcolm moved to Greenwich in January 2000.
